I have no problem with the Bible, but...?

I am so sorry you are going through this. You are almost at the end of getting out officially on your own. Until you can get out you must honor your father and abide by his rules. I know you say you are good and obey, etc but your job at this point is not to complain but to obey. You have to understand your father is a flawed person who isn't GOD. He makes mistakes and this is something I have had a hard time with myself. I was very young when I asked God for a "friend", instead I got an abuser and one who said he was from God. He took me to church and showed me how Godly he was and all I saw was hypocrasy. People told me not to dress fancy one week and then come to church looking like Mister T. I was surely depressed and didn't want to find God. Well God gave me a wake up call and I started to seek him and to this day I am a changed man. It wasn't that person that abused me but just life's circumstances that gave me a bad rap. He may have believed in God but he was flawed. Please don't leave God because your father is a flawed person. Good Luck and God Bless
