How do I remove permanent metallic gel marker from plastic?

I've tried toothpaste, hydrogen peroxide, soap and water, baking soda, I dunno. More details upon request. Specifically, it was a Pilot Super Color GOLD permanent type ink marker, and the plastic is that of a Nerf Stampede ECS.
