I feel so horrible??? Am I a terrible parent?

Every parent out there has taken their eyes off their child for a mere moment (and yes to check something like a phone) and in that exact moment the child has fallen. You can watch your child for 59 minutes and 59 seconds in a full hour and only in that one second you looked away will they get hurt. My son isn't too mobile yet but I'm sure one day I will be crying once he has moved on from falling just the same as you. Sometimes you can keep your eye on your baby and they will still get hurt. My friend's son tipped over while sitting on the floor, and just the way he had his arm up, he ended up breaking two fingers. She was watching him sit on the floor and something still happened. You are doing a fine job protecting your son and I don't even have to know you to know that! :)
